Product Overview

Products produced from post-consumer tyres go to a variety of end users and therefore require different specifications.

Murfitts plant is very versatile and is capable of producing rubber chip or granulate virtually to any size. Different types of tyres go to different end uses. For example car tyres are reduced to either 50mm or 15mm pieces and this is used for a range of equestrian uses such as menages and gallops, bank reinforcement material and drainage material.

Truck tyres are primarily reduced to much smaller sizes to produce granulate suitable for sports surfaces, children’s playgrounds and moulded rubber products.
