The finer grades of rubber crumb are also used in sports surfaces but normally as a loose infill for the new generation of synthetic soccer pitches. Again cleanliness of product is of paramount importance with many of the top clubs world wide using these pitches for training purposes and it has now been accepted for competition use on a trial basis.
Other uses for rubber crumb include rubber moulded and extruded products, rubber asphalt mixes for use in roadways, pathways, carparks, etc. manufacture of matting for a wide range of applications, etc. << back
